Shares: The Year’s Learned Lesson
Fear is a funny thing.
We can spend our entire lives searching for something, preparing for it … and the moment we get it all of that previous preparation won’t even matter. There’s one inherent problem with finally finding what we are looking for. It’s more powerful than the rapture of reaching that point … the fear of losing it. We frantically try to prevent it from being lost. When the irony is, life is not indefinite … thus, everything is eventually lost. Yet, accepting that reality … isn’t easy. However, when we do accept it … we can appreciate the moments as they come. We can cherish the time that we have … and instead of living in tomorrow … we can live for today. Living in tomorrow is just as bad as living in yesterday. Don’t get me wrong, it’s okay to plan for tomorrow … and to do so using the lessons learned from the mistakes of yesterday … but realize that …
yesterday is but a memory …. tomorrow is but a dream … today is the only reality.
Move beyond yesterday’s mistakes … forgive others for theirs … realize that tomorrow isn’t set in stone, and things aren’t always gonna go the way we plan. Take everything is stride, adapt, orchestrate your reality as you walk. Flow like water. Touch your environment. View things with different eyes. Listen to the speech of people you pass. Share. Laugh. Trust.

You write so beautifully.
Everytime I read your writings, i hold my breath as if it will disappear if i dont.
This is SO TRUE yet so hard to do.
Especially the trusting part.
At least for me.

Rania … i wonder how you are. Though, I won’t ask. Since I will not tread upon Steven’s space … or rather not allow my presence to even slightly replace him. Aka to be your confidant when I believe you should be confiding in him (as it used to be). Sometimes our friends make it impossible for us to give the things we should be giving to the person we’re with. We’re given too many options.
Blar.
But still, I hope yall are doing well … and still remember the time you took to read everything, and appreciate it sincerely til this day. Thank you.

Took me awhile to find this comment. That’s the irksome part about not setting comments to be approved. However, I decided to make that extra effort because I preferred that people are able to see their comments … in case something is missing (was cut off), or just as a convenience to them … which comes at an inconvenience to me. *sighs* *shrugs*
Anyway, some of the comments to the other entries are now missing (due to account deletions), so it appears as if I’m talking to myself … but I guess the gist of the convos can be gained from my responses to them. There’s also a few entries which aren’t listed on my page … so you might want to subscribe and get to them that way. I have three blog entries I have not yet posted, they are probably my most insightful entries … I guess I’ll post them today.

this makes utterly no sense…but the sad fact is understand 100% what you mean and agree with it whole heartedly!!!

lol, I know what you mean … the moments of agreeing and understanding wholeheartedly but yet it doesn’t seem to fit. Previously I’d discard it if it didn’t, but now I accept it.
