Examines: The Delusional Truths

Everything we think is a delusion. The human brain is an amazing thing, and with it we were blessed with the ability to create. However, with creation comes destruction. The destruction of truth.

Remember the game telephone?

A key example of how one’s perception of what is, warps what is to the point that what is, no longer is … but was. It was truth, but is no longer truth. Two men have a conversation, the statements of one man … inspire thoughts within the mind of the other. At a later date, the second man tries to convey the conversation to another. Tries to recall the words of the first man, and conveys it to the best of his ability.

It doesn’t matter if he’s not able to say exactly the same thing, in exactly the same tone or speed. The main point is that he’s able to convey it, right? Right, because regardless what is said, the truth will inspire (for truth always inspires). However, what he’s conveying isn’t fully true … it has become his version of the truth. It is a mixture of the inspired truth, and his own delusions … as his mind filtered, and diluted the potency of that which inspired him.

He may consciously alter the story, in an effort to make it “better”. When the fact is, the truth was good enough as it was. Stories get converted to proverbs. Proverbs get converted to poems. People arrogantly perceive themselves to make things better, instead of leaving well enough alone. Another flaw of the mind, a safe guard of sorts … to prevent those of us with the capacity, from truly climbing the tower of Babble. So we stutter our way though.

Everything we think is filtered through our biases. Thus, everything we think is a delusion. Some can move closer to the truth, and others think with less filters … these people become a type of living inspiration. For everytime they speak, they inspire with truth. I am not such a man that speaks without filters … for I am conveying a mixture of truth and creation/delusions. For delusions are created, and everything created is a delusion. For example, you have a rock vs. you make a rock.

So what is the truth?

The truth can only be conveyed in terms of present or past. What is, or what was … can never be changed. It will always be static. What will be, isn’t set in stone … unless thinking from the perception of destiny (but even destiny can’t be foreseen). Only the heart / the soul … knows the truth. The heart only know what is, and what was. However, because of this it also knows what isn’t, and what wasn’t.

Meet a stranger on the street, and get a sense of eerie familiarity. The connection which existed is the truth, even if we can’t understand it. The more we try to understand it, the more we filter it and it moves further from the truth. Our classifications defeat us. This would not be problematic, if people purely listened to their hearts. For then only that which is true would inspire the next. However, that is not the case … and in result, people become inspired by both truth and delusions (however, the truth will always inspire).

Understand that, delusions are not lies. Delusions are merely creations. Like a day dream for example. Although it is not real, it is not a lie. It is true, but it is not the truth. We mislead others in our selfish agendas. For that which we desire, is the most biased. In result, our greatest filters exist swaying the minds of those who would follow our delusions. It’s fine to share our creations, but to convey that the creation is the truth, that is the lie which misleads. The simple act of clarifying, produces extremely different results.

Still the mind, and speak the truth to the best of our ability. Allow the heart to guide in moments of silence / stillness. Allow stillness to exist. Inspire others with the truth, and divide the delusions.
